At Techmart 2026, Alta Media presented advanced Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions from PROSCEND, introducing new approaches to industrial infrastructure connectivity, monitoring, and management. Through technology demonstrations at its booth, Alta Media helped bring intelligent connectivity solutions closer to the digital transformation needs of Vietnamese businesses.

Alta Media brought PROSCEND's IIoT solutions to Techmart 2026, helping advance the adoption of industrial connectivity technologies in Vietnam.
As technology plays an increasingly important role in production and operations, businesses are gradually moving toward intelligent management models in which equipment, data, and infrastructure are closely interconnected. Beyond meeting automation needs, technology adoption creates opportunities to optimize resources, improve efficiency, and strengthen adaptability to increasingly diverse market requirements.
However, as operations expand, businesses also face challenges in maintaining reliable connectivity, managing devices remotely, and ensuring system continuity. These challenges highlight the need for technology solutions that enable flexible connectivity and effective monitoring while accommodating real-world deployment conditions.
Responding to this trend, Alta Media participated in Techmart 2026 – Smart Manufacturing Technology and Automation for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises – with PROSCEND’s Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions. The showcase focused on extending connectivity, improving infrastructure management efficiency, and supporting businesses in building intelligent operating environments. Through the event, Alta Media continued to bring advanced technologies closer to Vietnam’s business community and encourage their practical application in manufacturing and commercial operations.

Techmart 2026 brought together advanced technologies and solutions to promote smart manufacturing and automation for businesses.
Held on October 29–30, 2026, at the Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Startup Center (SIHUB), Techmart 2026 was themed ‘Smart Manufacturing Technology and Automation for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.’ Organized under the leadership of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, the event aimed to connect technology supply and demand, enabling businesses to access solutions suited to their manufacturing modernization and digital transformation needs.
Featuring 50 exhibition booths and more than 100 technologies, devices, and solutions, Techmart 2026 brought together research institutions, technology providers, and businesses from various sectors. The technologies on display covered automation, robotics, intelligent production management, energy efficiency, predictive maintenance, and solutions designed to optimize industrial operations.
In addition to the exhibition, Techmart 2026 featured a series of specialized seminars, solution demonstrations, and direct consultation activities. These provided opportunities for businesses to explore practical technology applications and engage with solution providers to identify deployment approaches aligned with their needs and investment resources.

Alta Media introduced PROSCEND IIoT solutions focused on extending connectivity and managing industrial network infrastructure.
Alta Media Introduces PROSCEND IIoT Solutions – Extending Connectivity and Optimizing Industrial Infrastructure Management
At its Techmart 2026 booth, Alta Media showcased PROSCEND’s Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions, focusing on extending industrial Ethernet connectivity and remotely managing network systems. Two featured solutions, Industrial Long-Reach PoE and O’smart RAM (Remote Access Management System), address challenges associated with deploying connectivity infrastructure, monitoring devices, and maintaining the operation of distributed networks.
Industrial Long-Reach PoE – Extending Connectivity Beyond the 100-Meter Limit
Among the solutions presented by Alta Media was PROSCEND Industrial Long-Reach PoE, developed to overcome the conventional 100-meter distance limitation of Ethernet connectivity, particularly for IP camera systems deployed at remote locations or where local power is difficult to provide.
Depending on the deployment configuration, the solution supports Ethernet data transmission and power delivery over UTP cable at distances of up to 800 meters, or over coaxial cable at distances of up to 1,000 meters. Through dedicated Ethernet extension devices, the system can deliver IEEE 802.3at-compliant PoE to compatible IP cameras at the remote end without requiring a separate local power supply, provided the relevant technical conditions are met.
In addition to extending transmission distance, Industrial Long-Reach PoE supports Link Fault Pass-Through (LFPT) for detecting link failures. When combined with compatible PROSCEND managed switches and the O’smart RAM platform, the system can issue alerts when a transmission link fails and allow administrators, in supported configurations, to initiate a remote power cycle to restart an IP camera. This capability can shorten troubleshooting time and reduce the need for on-site maintenance.

PROSCEND O’smart RAM supports centralized remote monitoring and management of industrial networking devices.
O’smart RAM – Remote Monitoring and Management of Distributed Networks
Alongside its connectivity extension solution, Alta Media introduced O’smart RAM (Remote Access Management System), PROSCEND’s management platform designed to support centralized monitoring and control of industrial routers and switches deployed across multiple locations.
O’smart RAM supports management of up to 2,000 devices, allowing administrators to monitor network status, signal strength, and data traffic through a centralized management interface. The platform also supports remote over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates, configuration backup and restoration, and continuous 24/7 device status monitoring.
One of O’smart RAM’s key advantages is its remote device management and control capability, enabling businesses to proactively monitor their systems without relying on physical inspections at every site. The platform supports monitoring the operational status of networking devices, tracking power usage, and remotely restarting IP cameras when supported and necessary, helping reduce troubleshooting time and maintenance costs.
O’smart RAM also provides an intuitive management interface, allowing operators to view their network infrastructure, track connectivity status, and promptly identify abnormalities. When a transmission fault occurs or a device exceeds a configured power-usage threshold, the system can automatically send notifications through supported alert channels, helping technical teams respond in a timely manner.
In particular, O’smart RAM can integrate with existing enterprise management systems, enabling the sharing of device status, alerts, and operational data. This helps businesses manage network infrastructure more conveniently, strengthen centralized visibility, and improve operational efficiency across deployments spanning multiple locations.
By introducing Industrial Long-Reach PoE and O’smart RAM at Techmart 2026, Alta Media gave visitors an opportunity to explore PROSCEND technologies for extending connectivity, remotely managing devices, and monitoring distributed networks. These solutions address practical requirements in IIoT infrastructure deployment and operations, especially where reliable connectivity must be maintained across multiple sites.
