The iTECH EXPO 2026 Announcement Ceremony officially kicked off the “New Tech, Innovation Unleashed” journey, connecting government agencies, experts, businesses, and the technology community ahead of the exhibition taking place at the end of September.

As technology increasingly becomes a key driver of business competitiveness and innovation, platforms that connect technology, real-world needs, and the market are becoming increasingly essential. Continuing this journey, the iTECH EXPO 2026 International Technology Exhibition Announcement Ceremony took place on August 18, 2026, at Queen Plaza Ky Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City. As an organizer, Alta Media worked alongside the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA) to deliver the program, officially launching the journey toward iTECH EXPO 2026, which will take place from September 30 to October 2, 2026.

The iTECH EXPO 2026 Announcement Ceremony was organized to officially introduce the exhibition’s theme, scale, and key activities to the business community and media organizations. The program also provided an opportunity for the Organizing Committee to share further details about iTECH EXPO’s new directions for 2026 ahead of the main exhibition at the end of September.

The program brought together representatives from government agencies, international trade promotion organizations, associations, experts, businesses, and media organizations. Notable attendees included Mr. Huynh Van Tung – Chief Representative of the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Office in Southern Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Huu Yen – Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Tran Phu Thinh – Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu – Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Semiconductor Technology Association; as well as experts and representatives from the technology business community.

Representing the Organizing Committee were Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long – Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association and Head of the iTECH EXPO 2026 Organizing Committee – and Mr. Hoang Minh Anh Tu – Chairman of Au Lac Technology Application and Media One Member Company Limited (Alta Media). The continued collaboration between the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association and Alta Media builds on the organizational foundation established through previous editions of iTECH EXPO, with the goal of developing iTECH EXPO 2026 into a platform that connects technology, professional expertise, and the business community while delivering increasingly practical value.

Under the theme “New Tech, Innovation Unleashed – Công nghệ mới, Khơi nguồn Đổi mới sáng tạo,” iTECH EXPO 2026 marks a new step forward, placing greater emphasis on substantive value, practical technology applications, and solutions to real-world business challenges. Alongside software solutions, this year’s exhibition expands its focus to advanced hardware, smart devices, and particularly the chip, integrated circuit, and semiconductor ecosystem, fostering greater convergence between hardware, software, and application solutions.

This direction was reflected throughout the Announcement Ceremony through two key components: an overview of iTECH EXPO 2026 and the seminar “Practical Perspectives & Opportunities for Vietnamese Businesses in the Semiconductor Industry.” In parallel, the Networking & Q&A Session provided a platform for businesses, attendees, media representatives, and journalists to engage directly with the Organizing Committee, helping clarify the exhibition’s scale, key programs, and the value chain that iTECH EXPO 2026 aims to develop.
